Gdy na skutek tajemniczego kosmicznego pyłu z grobów zaczęli powstawać umarli, na świecie zapanował chaos, a Ziemia została opanowana przez spragnionych ludzkiego mięsa zombie. Przynajmniej do czasu, gdy nikomu wcześniej nie znana korporacja ZomCon wynalazła "obrożę" zapewniającą kontrolę nad nieumarłymi. Zombie udało się oswoić, a nawet zaczęto je wykorzystywać do różnych prac ogrodowych, roznoszenia poczty, sprzątania czy gotowania. W takim świecie przyszło żyć znudzonemu Timmy'emu, który pewnego dnia zaprzyjaźnia się z jednym zombie i nadaje mu imię Fido. Ale jak to w życiu, tak i w przyjaźni nic nie jest takie proste, jak by sobie można wymarzyć.
